Steve Moody
I’m so thankful to be part of your morning routine. Though I’ve lived and performed all over the State of Maryland, I’ve been a resident of Caroline County since 2006. I’m beyond blessed to have a loving wife, a son, and a daughter who are just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the out, and a home that has always been filled with the patter of furry little feet. Yes, we are dog people. Lol!
I’ve had the honor of meeting so many of our loyal listeners at local wedding receptions here on the shore for the last 20-plus years. Being a Master of Ceremonies and DJ for local weddings has been such a rewarding experience. In addition to owning my company, Steve Moody’s Entertainment Connection, many may recognize me from my previous stint in radio at our “sister station” 96-7 WCEI, and from teaching country line dancing over the years at various Maryland locations.
In my free time, I stay busy within our community. I have been the President and Creative Director of the Caroline County Show Stoppers Children’s Theatre Program, and have also served as the Youth Pastor with an incredible group of kids at Denton Church of the Nazarene.
Music has always been my passion. From Oldies to the Latest Dance music (in all genres of music), if it’s a good song, I’m listening to it (and probably singing along). This being said, country music holds a very special place in my heart as so many of the songs tell stories that resonate with me. If you are one of our listeners, I’m sure that you feel the same way!
